  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley freshly chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled high-quality for best flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Chop the parsley and onion finely, and crumble the feta cheese.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parsley, onion, feta cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg. Mix everything together until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about ½ inch thick. You should get around 8-10 patties.
Cooking
  1. In a non-stick skillet, heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Once hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Cook in batches to avoid crowding.
  3. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces or alongside fresh salads.

Notes

Substitutions: Use ground turkey for a lighter option. Ensure the skillet is hot before adding patties for a crispy crust. Avoid over-mixing for the best texture.
