Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients. Chop the parsley and onion finely, and crumble the feta cheese.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parsley, onion, feta cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about ½ inch thick. You should get around 8-10 patties.
Cooking
- In a non-stick skillet, heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Once hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Cook in batches to avoid crowding.
- Transfer the cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces or alongside fresh salads.
Notes
Substitutions: Use ground turkey for a lighter option. Ensure the skillet is hot before adding patties for a crispy crust. Avoid over-mixing for the best texture.
