  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, basil, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place your chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure they are well-coated.
  3. Seal or cover the dish and allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for more flavor).
Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Arrange the marinated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley.
  5. Serve alongside your favorite side dishes, such as steamed vegetables or a refreshing salad.

Notes

Substitution Options: Use whatever dried herbs you have on hand; fresh herbs can also work beautifully. Timing: Marinating longer enhances flavor. Common Mistakes: Avoid overcooking; use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
