- In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder to eliminate any lumps.
- Gradually pour in the hot water, starting with about 2 ounces. Whisk until the matcha is fully dissolved and a small froth forms.
- In a saucepan, gently heat your milk over medium-low heat. Do not boil.
- Pour the warm milk into your matcha mixture, adding in your chosen sweetener. Stir gently.
- For a little flair, sprinkle a bit of matcha on top or add a dash of cinnamon before serving.
Notes
Store leftover matcha latte in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave.
