  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked or sweet based on your preference
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • optional Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or cilantro)
Optional Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 squeeze fresh lemon juice
  • to taste toasted nuts (like almonds or walnuts)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and dry the cauliflower head, then cut it into evenly sized florets.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Roasting
  1. Spread the seasoned cauliflower on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the edges are crispy and the centers are tender.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Optionally drizzle with tahini, a squeeze of lemon juice, and sprinkle with fresh herbs or toasted nuts.
  2. Serve warm as a hearty side or delightful main dish.

Notes

Experiment with different spices or herbs like curry powder or chili for a kick. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to ensure roasting rather than steaming.
