Fudge Ingredients
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips Use high-quality chips for best results.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Consider walnuts or pecans.

Preparation
  1. Line an 8x8 inch dish with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Once smooth, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped maraschino cherries (and nuts, if using), ensuring even distribution.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Once set, remove from the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy!

Notes

For perfect texture, allow fudge to cool and set thoroughly. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or refrigerate for up to two weeks.
