- Gradually sprinkle in the instant vanilla pudding mix, whisking continuously until the mixture begins to thicken, about 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
Layering
- In a large rectangular dish, layer the vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of sliced bananas, then a layer of the pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the pudding on top.
Chilling
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results).
- When ready, serve and enjoy!
