Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté them for about 5 minutes or until they begin to soften.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until it’s browned and no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder along with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir until everything is well-coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top it with the shredded provolone and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze in individual portions. Reheat by baking at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, covered to retain moisture.
