Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and slicing them into thin pieces.
- Combine the apples in a large mixing bowl. Add half of the cinnamon, nutmeg, and erythritol; gently toss to coat the apples.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the almond flour, melted butter, remaining erythritol, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt until crumbly.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly in an 8x8 inch (or similar size) baking dish.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for three months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes or in the microwave covered with a damp paper towel.
