Preparation of Graham Cracker Base
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and a pinch of sugar (optional). Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x9 inch square dish to create a solid base. This should take about 5 minutes.
Making the Lemon Pudding
- In another bowl, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and milk until smooth and starts to thicken, about 2 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
- Gently fold the whipped topping and lemon juice into the pudding mixture until well combined for a light, airy consistency.
Layering the Dessert
- Spread half of the lemon pudding mixture over the graham cracker base.
- Add a layer of the remaining graham crackers, then pour the rest of the lemon pudding over it.
- Spread evenly and finish with a final layer of graham crackers.
Chilling the Dessert
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set and meld flavors.
