Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons) For a bright and zesty flavor
  • 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained Adds a unique brininess
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (or olive oil for a healthier alternative) Use olive oil for a lighter sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped For garnish and added flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Alternatively, use olive oil for a healthier option.
  2. Once the butter is melted and bubbly, add in the fresh lemon juice and rinsed capers. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  3. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste, being cautious with salt as capers add saltiness.
  4. Let the sauce simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend beautifully. Remove from heat and stir in the finely chopped parsley.
  5. Drizzle the Lemon Caper Sauce over your favorite dish and enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions: Use ghee instead of butter for a richer flavor. Serve fresh for the best taste, and avoid boiling too long to prevent burning.
