Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth.
Layering and Baking
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom. Then, place three cooked lasagna noodles on top.
- Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Top with one-third of the shredded mozzarella and a bit more marinara.
- Repeat this layering process again, finishing off with a final layer of marinara and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Leftover Lazy Lasagna can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating. For reheating, microwave individual portions or bake the entire dish covered with foil in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
