Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs until blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix!
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each scoop.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges appear set.
- Once done, remove them from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
