  • 2 cups bean sprouts Fresh and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil For the dressing
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Add to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds For garnish
  • 1 piece green onion Chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the bean sprouts under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Drain well.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt to create the dressing.
  3. Add the chopped green onion and drained bean sprouts to the bowl. Gently toss the mixture until all the bean sprouts are coated with the dressing.
  4. Sprinkle the salad with sesame seeds and mix once more.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For the freshest taste, prepare this salad just before serving. If preparing ahead, keep the dressing separate to avoid sogginess. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Enjoy cold, and if dressed, consume within a day for best flavor.
