Preparation
- Start by washing the grapes thoroughly under cold water. Pat them dry gently with a clean kitchen towel—they need to be dry for the Kool-Aid to adhere well.
- In a shallow bowl, combine your desired flavor of Kool-Aid powder and sugar (if using). Mix them together until they are evenly blended.
- Take each grape and roll it gently in the Kool-Aid mixture, making sure it gets evenly coated. You can also use your fingers to sprinkle the powder for a more thorough application.
- Place the coated grapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This will prevent them from sticking. Once all the grapes are coated, pop them into the fridge for about 30 minutes to set.
- After 30 minutes, take the grapes out of the fridge and enjoy them chilled—and simply delightful!
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, although they are best eaten fresh. For added fun, experiment with different Kool-Aid flavors.
