Preparation
- Wash the fresh strawberries gently under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Make sure they are completely dry before dipping.
Melting Chocolate
- Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 30 seconds. Stir well, then continue heating in 15-second intervals until fully melted and smooth.
Dipping Strawberries
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip back into the bowl.
Setting the Strawberries
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the dipped strawberries on the prepared sheet, ensuring they are not touching each other.
Adding Toppings (Optional)
- Sprinkle crushed nuts, sprinkles, or coconut flakes over the chocolate-covered strawberries while the chocolate is still wet.
Chilling
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is completely set.
Serving
- Serve the strawberries immediately or store them in a cool place until you’re ready to eat!
Notes
For best results, ensure strawberries are dry before dipping, allow adequate chill time for chocolate to set, and consider various toppings for enhanced flavor and presentation.
