Ingredients

Marinade Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional) Adds sweetness
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, black pepper, salt, and honey if using. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
  2. Place the boneless chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated evenly. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or 2-4 hours for the best flavor.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  3. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps keep it juicy.
Serving
  1. Slice, serve, and enjoy your Juicy Grilled Chicken Marinade with your preferred sides!

Notes

For gluten-free options, substitute soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos. Avoid marinating for more than 8 hours to prevent mushiness.
