Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onion, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches wide.
Cooking
- In a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
- While patties cook, slice slider buns in half and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Once patties are done, place them on the bottom halves of the buns. Optionally sprinkle more cheese on top.
- Pop assembled sliders in the oven for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese and toast the buns.
- Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Place the top bun on and serve.
Notes
Consider trying different seasonings for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month and reheat in the oven.
