  • 4 large tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 oz salami (thinly sliced)
  • 3 oz pepperoni (thinly sliced)
  • ½ cup sliced olives (black or green)
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, soften the cream cheese if necessary and then mix in the Italian seasoning.
  2. Take a tortilla and spread a generous layer of the seasoned cream cheese mixture over the entire surface.
  3. Layer the salami and pepperoni evenly on top of the cream cheese. Add a handful of olives and chopped lettuce over the meats.
  4. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla tightly to create a log shape.
  5. Use a sharp knife to slice the roll into 1-inch thick pieces.
  6. Arrange your Italian pinwheels on a platter and they’re ready to be served.

Notes

To keep the dish Halal-friendly, consider using turkey or chicken-based deli meats. Roll pinwheels a few hours before serving and store in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for best results.
