  • 4 large flour tortillas You can also use whole wheat for a healthier option.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Feel free to use a lower-fat option.
  • 4 oz sliced turkey or chicken Ensure it’s Halal-certified.
  • 4 oz sliced salami or other Halal deli meat
  • 1 cup baby spinach Arugula can also be used for extra spice.
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers Use colorful varieties like red, yellow, or green.
  • ½ cup Italian dressing Choose a Halal-certified brand.

Preparation
  1. Start by laying out your large tortillas on a clean cutting board or counter.
  2. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to spread a generous layer of cream cheese over each tortilla.
  3. Add your sliced turkey or chicken evenly over the cream cheese, followed by the sliced salami or other Halal deli meat.
  4. Scatter the baby spinach and sliced bell peppers on top.
  5. Lightly drizzle some Italian dressing over the layered ingredients.
  6. Carefully roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other, making sure to keep the filling securely inside.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled tortilla into 1-inch sections.
  8. Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve immediately, or refrigerate for later.

Notes

You can keep the pinwheels fresh by storing them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag for up to 1 month.
