  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce Ensure it’s Halal

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Cheese slices (optional) For topping

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of oil and toss in your thinly sliced onions. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until they turn golden brown and caramelized, stirring occasionally to ensure they don’t burn.
  2. Once your onions are nicely caramelized, add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Push the onions to the side of the skillet and add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper, then cook until browned, breaking the meat apart with a spatula.
  4. Pour the French onion soup and Worcestershire sauce over the beef mixture and stir well to combine.
  5. Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together nicely.
  6. While the mixture simmers, toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or under the broiler for a minute or two.
  7. Spoon a generous amount of the beef mixture onto the toasted buns, and if desired, top with cheese slices, allowing them to melt slightly.
