  • 1 cup water Essential for creating steam in the Instant Pot.
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon juiced, plus lemon wedges for serving
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter Stir in after cooking, if desired.

Preparation
  1. Ensure your Instant Pot is plugged in and ready for use.
  2. Add the water to the Instant Pot first, crucial for creating steam.
  3. Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Toss in the shrimp, spreading them evenly inside the pot.
  5. Secure the lid on the Instant Pot, ensuring the steam release valve is in the 'sealing' position.
  6. Select the 'manual' or 'pressure cook' setting and set the timer for 2 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Once the timer goes off, carefully perform a quick release of the steam.
  2. Open the lid and stir in the butter until it melts.
Serving
  1. Serve the shrimp legs with some fresh lemon wedges to garnish.

Notes

For substitutions, try chicken legs or fish filets. Avoid overcooking to maintain the tender texture of the shrimp. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop and add fresh lemon juice for brightness.
