Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Icing Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk for icing

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Pour in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
Roll and Fill
  1. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Spread melted butter generously on top. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Shape the Rolls
  1. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the rectangle into a log.
  2. Cut the log into 1-inch slices and place them into a greased Instant Pot container, standing upright.
Cook
  1. Add 1 cup of water to the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Place the trivet inside and set the cinnamon rolls on top.
  2. Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  3. Once done, perform a quick release.
Prepare the Icing
  1. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk. Drizzle it over warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
Serve & Enjoy
  1. Pull apart these fluffy rolls, savoring each bite!

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use almond or coconut milk. Cooking times may vary; always check that the rolls are fluffy and cooked through. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
