  • 2 cups green tea Brewed from tea bags
  • 1 cup orange juice Freshly squeezed is best for flavor
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger Add more for extra zing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil 2 cups of water, then remove from heat and add green tea bags. Let steep for 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of grated ginger to the brewed tea while still warm. Stir well and let cool for a few minutes.
  3. Mix in 1 cup of fresh orange juice into the cooled tea.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve in a glass filled with ice cubes and garnish with orange slices. Sweeten to taste if desired.

Notes

For variations, try using herbal tea for a caffeine-free option or adding lemon juice for extra flavor. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, but it's best enjoyed fresh.
