Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Start by cutting your chicken into bite-sized pieces and setting it aside.
Making the Sauce
- In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well to create a smooth sauce.
Cooking the Chicken
- In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken pieces in a single layer.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
Thickening the Sauce
- In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Pour in the honey-soy sauce mixture and stir to combine.
Combining
- Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken. Stir well to coat each piece, and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened to your liking.
Garnishing and Serving
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and add chopped green onions for that extra pop.
