Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped
  • optional Lemon slices

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Lay out four pieces of aluminum foil (about 12 inches long each) on a baking sheet.
  4. On each piece of foil, place a salmon fillet and season it with salt and pepper.
  5. Generously drizzle the honey garlic mixture over each fillet, making sure to coat them well. If you like, add lemon slices on top for extra zest!
  6. Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, creating a sealed packet that will trap in moisture and flavor.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for steam), garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to customize your sauce by adding a dash of chili flakes for heat! Always check for doneness by ensuring the salmon flakes easily.
