Method
Preparation
- Begin by measuring and preparing all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
Cooking Broccoli
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add in the broccoli and sauté for 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Sautéing Shrimp
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the shrimp, cooking them for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
Creating the Sauce
- Add honey and soy sauce to the skillet, stirring to coat the shrimp evenly. Allow the honey mixture to thicken for an additional 2 minutes, ensuring the shrimp are well-coated.
Combining Ingredients
- Return the sautéed broccoli back to the skillet. Toss everything gently until well combined and heated through.
Serving
- Transfer the dish to a serving platter. Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve with your favorite rice.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
