Ingredients
  

For the salmon
  • 4 fillets 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup soy sauce (ensure it's Halal-certified)
  • 4 cloves 4 garlic cloves, minced Fresh garlic is recommended for better flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the honey garlic marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Once marinated, place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  2. If desired, serve the salmon with fresh lemon wedges and an extra drizzle of sauce from the baking dish.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the cooked salmon for up to 3 months. Reheat gently in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
