Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Brussels Sprouts, halved
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil, for roasting
  • 3 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar For that sweet tang
  • 2 tablespoons Honey To add sweetness and depth
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For an added layer of flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while you prepare the sprouts.
  2. Rinse the Brussels sprouts thoroughly and cut them in half. Discard any outer leaves that look wilted.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Place the halved Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and pour the honey-balsamic mixture over them. Toss until the sprouts are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the sprouts in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the edges.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

Ensure Brussels sprouts are of uniform size for even cooking. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet to prevent steaming. Feel free to add nuts or dried cranberries for added flavor and texture.
