  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled Use the freshest strawberries for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 cup sparkling water Add slowly to maintain fizz.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and hull the fresh strawberries, removing the green tops and slicing them in half.
  2. Place the halved strawberries in a mixing bowl, sprinkle with sugar, and mash them into a chunky puree.
Mixing
  1. Slowly pour in the sparkling water over the mashed strawberries and stir gently to combine.
Serving
  1. Fill glasses with ice and pour the strawberry soda over the ice until the glasses are three-quarters full.
  2. Garnish with a slice of lemon on the rim of each glass.

  1. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing drink with family.

Notes

Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Avoid freezing.
