Ingredients

For the Ice Cream
  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped Make sure your peaches are perfectly ripe for that extra sweetness!
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling and pitting the ripe peaches. Chop them into small pieces, and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped peaches, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Using an immersion blender or regular blender, puree the mixture until it's smooth but still has small peach chunks for texture.
  3. Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge for 1-2 hours. This helps intensify the flavor and ensures a smoother ice cream.
  4. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker. Follow your machine's instructions, usually churning for about 20-25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  5. Transfer the soft ice cream into an airtight container and smooth the top. Freeze it for at least 4 hours or overnight until it’s firm.
  6. Scoop, serve, and watch everyone’s faces light up with joy at the first taste!

Notes

Leave a little space at the top of your container for the ice cream to expand as it freezes. If peaches are out of season, you can use frozen peach slices. Just thaw them and blend as instructed. Mix in some crushed nuts or fresh mint for an extra kick of flavor and texture! Avoid over-churning to prevent icy texture.
