Ingredients

For the ice cream sandwiches
  • 12 cookies Oreo cookies Or more, depending on how many you want to make
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream Softened for easier spreading
  • Chocolate sauce Optional, for drizzling
  • Sprinkles Optional, for added fun

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by separating the Oreo cookies into two halves. You want to end up with six whole cookies and six cookie halves.
  2. Once you have your cookie halves ready, take the softened vanilla ice cream and spread a generous amount on one half of each cookie.
  3. Place the other half of the Oreo on top of the ice cream, creating a sandwich. Carefully press down to ensure the ice cream spreads to the edges.
  4. Lay the completed sandwiches on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place them in the freezer for at least 2 hours, allowing the ice cream to firm up.
  5. Once the sandwiches are frozen, drizzle with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with your choice of toppings. Serve immediately and delight in the smiles around the room!

Notes

Choose premium vanilla ice cream for a creamier texture; avoid soft cookies for better structure; customize toppings for added creativity. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
