Ingredients
  

Pizza Base
  • 1 package pre-made pizza dough Consider gluten-free options if needed.
Main Toppings
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup salsa Use your favorite brand.
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions Red or white onions work well.
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives Optional.
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • to taste Fresh cilantro for garnish Add before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  4. Spread the refried beans evenly across the dough, leaving a little room at the edges for the crust.
  5. Pour the salsa over the beans and spread it evenly.
Topping and Baking
  1. Sprinkle your shredded cheese generously over the salsa.
  2. Add jalapeños, diced tomatoes, onions, and black olives as desired.
  3. Sprinkle taco seasoning on top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  2. Garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing into portions.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes or microwave individual slices.
