Glaze Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For the sweetness in the glaze
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk For the glaze consistency

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the honey and ground cinnamon.
  6. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Glazing
  1. While the buns bake, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  2. Once baked, let the honey buns cool slightly before drizzling glaze over them.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or refrigerate for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
