Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup Use honey for a sweeter flavor.
  • ½ cup nut butter (like almond or cashew butter) Microwave if too thick.
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Mix-ins
  • ½ cup dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, or apricots) Chopped if large.
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips or seeds Consider pumpkin or sunflower seeds.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the nut butter, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and add dried fruits and any optional mix-ins.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish and press down firmly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Cool completely before lifting out and slicing into bars.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or freeze for later enjoyment. Experiment with different ingredients for unique flavors!
