Ingredients

For the Pasta
  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or your choice) Use your favorite type of pasta.
For the Steak
  • 1 pound steak (cut into bite-sized pieces) Choose a tender cut for the best results.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Use unsalted butter for better flavor control.
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) More or less garlic can be used based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream This gives the sauce its creamy texture.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated Parmesan is recommended.
  • Salt and pepper (to taste) Season to your liking.
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish) Use for an aromatic and colorful finish.

Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Preparing the Steak
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak pieces generously with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and sear each side for about 2-3 minutes or until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove the steak and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but not browned.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream while stirring constantly. Add grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and smooth. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
Combining All Ingredients
  1. Return the cooked steak and drained pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until well-coated in the creamy garlic butter sauce. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
  1. Once combined, garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy your delicious meal!

Notes

For different flavors, you can swap steak for Halal-certified meats like chicken or turkey. Avoid overcooking the steak for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze before adding pasta for best results.
