  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Corn Chex
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex
  • 1 cup mixed nuts choose your favorites, ensuring they're Halal-compliant
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup cheese crackers
Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce use a Halal-compliant brand
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, mixed nuts, pretzels, and cheese crackers. Toss gently to mix.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the seasoning mixture over the dry ingredients and toss to ensure everything is evenly coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Notes

Store the Chex Mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2-3 weeks, or freeze for longer storage. No need to reheat when enjoying later.
