  • 1/2 cup milk or cream For a non-dairy option, use almond, coconut, or oat milk.
Caramel Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons homemade caramel sauce Make sure it has cooled before adding to coffee.
  • optional additional caramel for drizzling For an extra treat.
Extras
  • optional whipped cream For topping.
  • as needed ice cubes To chill the drink.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a cup of coffee using your preferred method and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Prepare your homemade caramel sauce if you haven't made it yet.
Mixing
  1. In a tall glass, combine the cooled coffee with the caramel sauce and stir well.
  2. Add the milk or cream to the coffee mixture.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with additional caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Store leftover brewed coffee in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Caramel sauce can be prepared in advance and kept in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
