Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). A hot oven is crucial for that perfect glaze!
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and lime juice. Stir until well-combined.
- Pat dry your salmon fillets with a paper towel to achieve a crispy texture; season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
- Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and spoon the Cajun glaze over the top of each fillet.
Cooking
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until flaked easily with a fork. Broil for an extra 1-2 minutes for char.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze wrapped in plastic wrap and foil for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes for best results.
