Ingredients

For the Wraps
  • 1 pound ground beef Opt for 80/20 ground beef for a good flavor and juiciness.
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
For the Secret Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon pepper Adjust to taste.

Method

Prepare the Secret Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish, and white vinegar until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Cook the Beef
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, breaking apart the meat as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, drain any excess fat.
Assemble the Wraps
  1. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place a slice of American cheese in the center, followed by a generous scoop of the cooked beef, shredded lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes if using. Drizzle with the secret sauce.
Wrap It Up
  1. Starting from one side, fold the tortilla over the filling, tucking it in tightly as you go. Roll it up completely and place seam-side down on a plate.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling. Serve your wraps with extra secret sauce on the side for dipping!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the secret sauce separately to keep the wrap fresh. You can make this wrap ahead of time for quick lunches or dinners.
