- Gather all your ingredients and slice your bread if needed. Thin slices of bread work best for maximizing the crispy texture.
- On one side of each slice of bread, spread a piece of mustard on one side and mayonnaise on the other.
- Lay the slices of roast beef on one slice of bread, covering it generously.
- Place two slices of cheddar cheese over the beef, allowing the cheese to melt beautifully.
- Carefully place the other slice of bread on top to complete the sandwich.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter until it starts to foam.
- Place your sandwich in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip it gently, adding more butter if necessary.
- Once both sides are perfectly grilled and the cheese has melted, remove from the heat, slice the sandwich in half, and serve warm.
Notes
