Preparation
- Slice steak against the grain into thin strips.
- Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add sliced steak and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
Cooking
- In a large pan over medium heat, add a little sesame oil and sauté mixed vegetables for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Push vegetables to one side of the pan and add marinated steak. Sear on high heat for 3-4 minutes.
Assembly
- Spoon a generous portion of rice into a bowl, followed by sautéed vegetables and juicy steak.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Serving
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
For substitutions, you can use chicken or shrimp instead of steak. Avoid overcrowding the pan to prevent steaming instead of searing.
