- Start by rinsing the cherry tomatoes under cold running water. Pat them dry with a clean towel, then cut each tomato in half. Place them in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped basil, oregano, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Pour the marinade over the halved cherry tomatoes. Gently toss to ensure that each tomato is coated in the herb-infused oil.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and let the tomatoes marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. For the best flavor, aim for about 2 hours.
- After marinating, transfer the tomatoes to your serving dish. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the top and enjoy!
Notes
Store any leftover Herb-Marinated Cherry Tomatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you love those flavors intensely, consider freezing them!
