Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup halal pepperoni slices or turkey pepperoni Can substitute with other halal-friendly toppings.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step is essential for ensuring those sliders cook evenly.
  2. Using a serrated knife, slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (like a sandwich). Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
  3. Slather the pizza sauce evenly over the base of the rolls.
  4. Generously sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce, followed by the pepperoni (or turkey pepperoni) slices, and then add the rest of the cheese on top.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls on the cheese and toppings, pressing gently to compact.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over the top of the rolls to give them a beautiful, golden finish while baking.
  7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melty.
  8. Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool slightly. Slice them into individual sliders and serve warm!

Notes

For the crispiest result, keep an eye on the sliders as they bake; every oven is different. Store any unused sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
