  • 2 pieces bagels plain or your favorite flavor
  • 200 g halloumi cheese, sliced
  • 1 piece ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice your bagels in half and toast them until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the sliced halloumi and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Scoop out the avocado into a bowl and mash it lightly with a fork. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the mashed avocado on each half of the bagel, layer with crispy halloumi, and finish with a drizzle of honey.
  5. Plate your Halloumi, Honey & Avocado Bagel and enjoy!

Notes

Consider adding toppings like cherry tomatoes or fresh herbs. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and consume within a day for the best flavor and texture.
