  • 1 cup 1 cup cooked ground turkey (also Halal-certified)
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheese (choose either cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 large 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish, crimp the edges, and prick the bottom with a fork.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and turkey until browned (about 7-10 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Layer the cooked meat in the pie crust, pour the egg mixture on top, and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
  5. Allow the quiche to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Ingredient swaps include using different meats or adding vegetables like bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach. If the crust is browning too quickly, cover the edges with foil.
