Preparation
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse under cold water, and set aside to cool.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the halal ground beef or turkey. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat and allow it to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cooled meat, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced pickles, and diced onions.
- Pour the Big Mac sauce over the mixture. Toss gently until everything is well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Can be reheated gently on the stove with a splash of water if desired.
