Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 whole whole wheat tortillas Can substitute with spinach tortillas.
  • 8 ounces grilled turkey slices Make sure they're halal.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 whole avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Warm the Tortillas: Begin by warming the whole wheat tortillas in a skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Place the warmed tortillas on a clean surface. Spread the mayonnaise evenly across each one, then layer the heated turkey slices in the center.
  3. Add Fresh Veggies: On top of the turkey, add the shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and avocado. Don’t forget the cheddar cheese!
  4. Season: Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Wrap It Up: Start rolling the tortilla from one end, tucking in the sides as you go. Roll it tightly so that nothing spills out.
  6. Grill for Crunch: Return the wrapped tortillas to the skillet over medium heat. Grill each side for about 2-3 minutes until they’re golden brown and the cheese is slightly melted.
  7. Slice and Serve: Remove from heat, slice in half (diagonally), and serve while warm.

Notes

You can prep all the ingredients ahead of time and store them separately. If you have leftovers, wrap each one and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave before serving.
