Preparation
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Marinating
- Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts, then sprinkle them with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Massage the marinade all over the chicken to ensure each piece is well-coated.
Grilling
- Place the chicken breasts on the grill.
- Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Adding Salsa Verde and Cheese
- Generously spread salsa verde over each chicken breast once they are nearly done.
- Top each piece with the shredded Pepper Jack cheese.
- Close the grill lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
Serving
- Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh cilantro if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are fresh for the best flavor. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after grilling to retain moisture. Avoid overcooking the chicken.
