Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3-4 lbs beef ribs Ensure the ribs are fresh for the best results.
Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Ensure it's alcohol-free.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by rinsing the beef ribs under running water. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this seasoning mix generously over both sides of the beef ribs. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge) to absorb the flavors.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
Grilling
  1. Place the ribs on the grill. Cook them for about 2-2.5 hours, checking occasionally.
  2. In the last 20 minutes of grilling, brush your favorite BBQ sauce onto the ribs. Close the lid and let it caramelize.
  3. Once grilled to perfection, let the ribs rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve them hot.

Notes

For variations, use smoked paprika or chili powder in the seasoning. Don’t rush the cooking process for the best tenderness. Store leftovers in foil or an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
