Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until well combined. Don't overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps!
Cooking
  1. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle maker according to its instructions.
  2. Cook until golden brown and crispy, usually around 5 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove the waffles and serve immediately with your choice of toppings!

Notes

For a healthier twist, replace all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour or a gluten-free mix. Keep an eye on the cooking time, as every waffle maker is different. Avoid overmixing to keep waffles light and airy.
